His T1 diabetes was diagnosed when he was 1 year old (in 1968).

He grew up and got passionated by technology and sports. Christophe works as an engineer in a high tech company. Next to his badminton activities (player and coach) he's also interested in wine tasting.

In 2005, another immunity deficiency was diagnosed (Sarcoidoses) which caused a lot of extra burden on top of the T1 diabetes management.

He's been active as a volunteer in the "Diabetes Liga" since its creation.

He started looping in January 2023 with Omnipod Dash & FreeStyle Libre 2, and he's actively assisting the new users via the social media communities on iAPS.
